Notes for: Other Antianginal DrugsLast edited [12/08/2013 11:52:08]1. See Nice Guideline CG126 - Angina
2. In the management of patients with angina who are unsuitable for a beta-blocker, a rate limiting calcium-channel blocker is the first option. A switch to ivabradine may be considered if the calcium-channel blocker is ineffective in controlling heart rate or angina. In addition, relative hypotension may be a reason to choose ivabradine instead of trying a rate-limiting calcium-channel blocker.
3. NICE Chronic heart failure - ivabradine (TA267)
